Tequila Sunrise
Orange, pomegranate juice and tequila in a sunny, fruity sorbet.
Juicy orange and pomegranate juice make a fruity base, and tequila gives it definition. The Tequila Sunrise got its name from the colors in the glass, which look like a sunrise. The sunny mood stays; only the form changes.

Story
Today’s Tequila Sunrise, with orange juice and grenadine, was created in the early 1970s in Sausalito, California, while an earlier drink by that name dates from 1930s Arizona. Grenadine is a syrup once made from pomegranates, and its name comes from the French grenade, meaning pomegranate. In this adults-only sorbet, orange and pomegranate juice bring sunrise colors.
