Salted Caramel
Caramel with a pinch of salt, sweet and bold at the same time.
A pinch of salt lifts the caramel, so every spoonful tastes even more caramelly. This sweet-and-salty duo was made famous by Brittany in France, and today ice cream parlors all over the world know it. Fair warning: it’s hard to stop at one spoonful.

Story
Brittany is famous for salted butter, so salted caramel feels right at home there. In 1977, the confectioner Henri Le Roux from Quiberon began making salted butter caramels and made the flavor popular. Today salted caramel is on menus in ice cream shops around the world.
